For more than forty years, Andrew Keall has developed a diverse art practice spanning painting, printmaking, drawing, wood carving, artists’ books, poetry and animation.His work has been recognised through scholarships, including the Dowd Foundation Print Scholarship with the Australian Print Workshop in Melbourne, RMIT University's Open Bite Scholarship with Lancaster Press in Melbourne, the Australian Postgraduate Award, and the University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship. A regular finalist in painting and printmaking awards across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, he was most recently selected for New Zealand's National Contemporary Art Award in 2019.Keall has exhibited widely in both countries, and holds a Doctor of Fine Arts from the University of Auckland (2022) and a Master of Fine Arts from RMIT University, Melbourne (2016).
